Recipe

Well I'm back from a wonderful week at S.M.I.T.E camp! And trying to get back on routine! So this isn't the normal Kids On Tuesday, just haven't gotten my act together yet. :)

Here is a recipe for Fried Chicken sent in for the Do You Have page!

Thanks for sending it in Rebecca! Looks GREAT!

Southern Fried Chicken

1 Chicken, cut into pieces
1 egg
2 tbs. milk
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika (optional)
shortening or oil

Beat the egg until frothy, then stir in the milk.
Next, salt the pieces of chicken, then dip into the batter, then flour. Fry in a deep skillet, with oil deep enough to cover the chicken. Fry covered for 5 minutes on either side, then fry uncovered until golden brown (about 15 to 20 minutes.) Drain on paper towel.
